Poll: Rosen up by 3, Trump only upside down by 9 in Nevada

Survey says. Axios/Survey Monkey poll has Jacky Rosen up by 3 over Dean Heller. The poll also reports Trump’s approval in Nevada at 45 and his disapproval at 54, which is not upside-down enough to warrant full faith and creditable regard for the judgment of the people of Nevada as a whole, frankly. Meantime, earlier polls had Rosen up by 4 over Heller last month, and down by 1 in April. So, to recap: It’s all about turnout.

Only one person even remotely believes this. “No president has ever consulted more widely or talked with more people from more backgrounds to seek input about a Supreme Court nomination, said Brett Kavanaugh, oddly using his very first moments in the national spotlight to say something ridiculous and obviously false. Even Trump’s supporters know Kavanaugh’s statement is absurd; Trump’s dogged refusal to eschew information is one of their favorite things about him. Nope, there’s only one person in the cosmos who sincerely thinks Kavenaugh’s statement was fair and accurate. By demonstrating a willingness to humiliate and demean himself by sucking up to that person, Kavanaugh is off to a flying start in the Trump orbit.
