As of Thursday morning, 1,721 people in Nevada had been tested for COVID-19 (some more than once), 95 had tested positive, and one death in the state been reported.
That’s according to a new case data page the state added its Nevada Health Response Center (NHRC) website. The feature reports the number of tests and results by testing laboratory. The page also reports case data by age and gender.
The page will be updated daily, Tuesday through Saturday.
“This data changes rapidly as labs conduct tests and discover new cases,” the NHRC said in a release announcing the case data page. “The numbers may not always match the most recent reports released by local health jurisdictions since statewide cases will be updated once daily Tuesday through Saturday. Additionally, these are laboratory-based data which may reflect some results on patients that live outside of Nevada. Those cases will be removed once the epidemiological investigation is performed.”
